permanent makeup is not recommended for clients who are or have any of the following.
- pregnant
- breastfeeding
-undergoing chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
-epilepsy
-used accutane in the last 6 months
stop using any skin thinners (vitamin c, glycolic acids, exfoliation) on the brow area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- any waxing or brow shaping should be done at least 2 days before
- if you tint your brows, tint them at least one week prior to procedure
- cosmetic botox or fillers should be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after
- do not consume alcohol, caffeine or take any. blood thinners(asprin, ibuprofen or niacin 48 hrs prior to procedure
- you may experience hypersensitivity and more pain around or during your menstrual cycle
- we will not be able to tattoo over any blemishes, sores and moles in or around the brow area
after every appointment you will recieve an aftercare kit with cleanser and balm. Cleanse your brows morning and night by mixing a small amount of cleanser with water and gently swiping over brows, rinse with water, pat dry then apply small amount of the balm. You can apply blam throughout the day if your brows are itchy. Do this for 10 - 14 days
your brows will be darker and more warm in tone when they are fresh for the first 3-5 days. After this they may start to flake and look patchy, this is totally normal. Your brows may change a lot over the next few weeks. Trust the process. After 2 weeks you may touch them up with makeup if they need it until you are in for your follow up at 6-8 weeks.
- do not expose your fresh brows to the sun for extended amounts of time, wear a hat
- no sweating excessively for 10 days
- no swimming, hot tubs or sauna
- do not wet your brows other than when you are washing them daily
- do. not use any exfoliants, aha, acids or retinol on the tattooed area, this will fade your tattoo faster
- no makeup on tattooed area for 2 weeks
your lips can not be dry for the appointment. If they are we will need to reschedule and you will forfeit your deposit.
exfoliate your lips 3 days before your appointment to remove any dry skin. you can use a lip scrub or make your own using a little honey and brown sugar. for the week leading up to your appointment you must moisturize your lips as much as possible. I recommend using aquaphor
** cold sores are a risk of lip blush tattooing. Trauma to the lip tissue can trigger one. If you have had one in the past I recommend taking anti-viral medication prior to your lip blushing to help prevent an outbreak
Lips will feel swollen and very dry after your treatment. Apply balm on lips several times a day. This should be done for at least 14 days post treatment. Do not allow lips to become to dry. For the first few days your lips may resemble bright matte lipstick, this is normal.
After lips are no longer tender to the touch they may become flaky, this is normal and expected. Please do not pick or scratch at them, just let the flaking happen naturally.
Durning the healing process keep lips out of the sun, avoid acidic fruits, use utensils and a straw to eat and avoid pools and sauna. Once healed you may resume normal activity just make sure to use SPF on your lips to preserve colour.
your new lip blush tattoo will fade 50- 80% as it heals. Please schedule your initial follow up 8-12 weeks after initial session. 2-3 sessions may be required for desired result
Drink plenty of water in the days before your appointment. Moisturize the area to be tattooed regularly leading up to your appointment. Do not apply lotion the day of your appointment.
Protect the area from the sun pre appointment. We can not tattoo sun burnt skin. Avoid excessive exfoliation leading up to your appointment.
Avoid blood thinners - advil, alcohol etc for at least 24hrs pre appointment.
Feel free to bring water and ear pods if you want to listen to music or a podcast of your choice while you are bring tattooed, especially if you have a larger piece booked.
Please wear. comfortable clothing that allows access to the area you would like tattooed
After your session we will apply second skin to cover the tattoo. Please leave this on for 3 days if you can.
After you can remove your cover and wash with gentle cleanser and moisturize your tattoo regularly with an unscented cream or balm.
Avoid direct, longterm sun exposure for the first few weeks. Avoid scratching or picking at your new tattoo. While it is fresh do not submerge the tattoo in water - pools, baths.
If your tattoo needs any minor touch ups you can schedule that online at 4 weeks. This is complementary. If additional shading or adding to the design is desired additional cost may be applied
Stay hydrated and eat a healthy meal to stabilize blood sugar to avoid dizziness or fainting. Avoid blood thinners - advil, alcohol 24hrs prior.
If you have longer hair think about pulling it back or bring a ponytail to tie your hair up at your appointment to leave access to area of piercing.
Due to every clients individual ear anatomy exact location of desired piercing might not be an option so please be open to suggestions for different location or piercing that might be better suited to your ears.

Only touch your new piercing with clean washed hands. Dirty hands can lead to infection - we do not want that!
You will need to clean your new piercing daily with a saline rinse. You can use a clean q-tip with saline to clean around your piercing. Your new piercing may have a slightly longer post to allow for any swelling post appointment. Once it is fully healed you may change out for a smaller post or different piece.
Avoid playing with or touching your new piercing.
When cleaning give your new earring a little push or screw to keep it tight.
